SUMMER CAMP REGISTRATIONS
The Fort Myers YMCA will be providing Summer Camp this summer. Camp will still be located at the Youth Center. You can NOW register online at http://asoft4139.accrisoft.com/southcounty/index.php?src=gendocs&ref=registration_copy

Hours & Fees
7 am - 3 pm $55 /week
3 pm - 6 pm $15 / week

SWIM LESSONS
Swimming Lessons are being offered at the C.S. Mott Pool for kids ages 5-12. Classes will be Monday - Friday for 45 mins. Each session is $55 fee. You can register online starting April 30, 2018. Space is limited, REGISTER EARLY!!

Sessions, Times & Fees:
1st Session / June 4-15th        9AM - 12PM    $55.00
2nd Session / June 18-29th     9AM - 12PM    $55.00
3rd Session / July 9-20th
       9AM - 12PM    $55.00

We are also offering ADULT SWIM LESSONS! Classes will be held on Tuesdays & Thursdays from 6PM - 7PM. You can register online starting April 30, 2018.

Sessions:

1st Session / June 11-29th (6 classes) $45.00
2nd Session / July 9-27th (6 classes)   $45.00


Lifeguard in Training (L.I.T.) Program
The Lifeguard in Training Program has been developed to give young people ages 14-15 years of age the opportunity to acquire leadership skills through involvement in the Clewiston Recreation Department Summer Program. Youth who are selected to be an L.I.T. should consider it a privilege and an opportunity to develop valuable life & work skills.

Candidate Qualifications:

· LIT candidates must be 14 of age, as of the first day of pool opening (May 26, 2018).
· LIT candidates must have a Red Cross First Aid & CPR certification.
· LIT candidates must be able to swim underwater 20 yards without coming up for a breath.
· LIT candidates must be able to tread water for 5 minutes with arms.
· LIT candidates must be able to retrieve a dive ring at 12 feet.
· LIT candidates must possess a high degree of responsibility, maturity, reliability, and enthusiasm.

CHOW DOWN FOOD TRUCKS will be in CLEWISTON on Thursday, JUNE 28, 2018 from 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm at the Sugar Festival Field!!

Come out with your family & enjoy a nice dinner in the park. Don't forget to bring your lawn chairs & blankets!!

As of January 1, 2016, park pavilions are assessed a rental fee & a inflatable/structure fee (at designated parks only). Reservations for pavilions are intended for private parties or gatherings. Please click HERE for the Fee Structure & Approved Vendor List (only approved vendors are allowed to setup inflatables/structures on City parks). You can now make your park reservation online.

REGISTRATIONS

Check the 'Currently Registering' for a list of programs that are currently taking registrations. Click the 'Register Online' button to begin the registration process. The Recreation Department is pleased to offer something for everyone - from the water park for toddlers to the senior citizens' monthly luncheon/meeting. Take a look at the many things the Clewiston Recreation Department has to offer. There is something for everyone, regardless of age or interest.

YOUTH ACTIVITIES
Clewiston Sugar Dolls Baton & Pom-Pom Classes are being offered every Tuesday at the Youth Center. Registration is $10. Lessons are $30 monthly. Baton & Pom-poms are available for purchase. For more information contact Jackie Tucker, Director (863) 983-2298. Below are the class times:
     Beginners Class     4:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
     Intermediate Class 5:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
     Advanced Class     6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

ADULT ACTIVITIES

ZUMBA fitness class is being offered at the Youth Center on Mondays, Wednesday & Thursdays from 7:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. Fee is $6.

CPAC is now offering ZUMBA in the mornings! LET IT MOVE YOU! There are a lot of ways to lose weight. Some are just more fun. Join the ultimate dance-fitness party that beats a boring old workout any day. Come join ZUMBA Instructor Vanessa every Tuesday & Thursday mornings at 8:30 a.m. at the CPAC Building located at 725 Central Avenue, Clewiston.
